This module covers the Law and the Practice of interviewing an individual who may be suspected of the criminal offence of fraud, a witness to a fraud or fraudulent misconduct allegation. The demands involved in grasping the complexity of factors involved and achieving an awareness of these, to behave flexibly marks out interviewing as a high order of interpersonal skill. Such skill is essential but will count for nothing if the interviewer cannot grasp the fine-grain detail, registering and retaining what is there and crucially what is not there in the material.
