This 5 day course introduces students to the intelligence cycle. It goes on to demonstrate how to identify and design investigation strategies and develop collection plans using internationally recognised models.

Course rationale

Through practical exercises and debriefs, students work with and apply the 5x5x5 evaluation system. The course introduces the concept of using analytical methods and allows students to practice using analytical tools. Practical exercises are undertaken to demonstrate how the use of intelligence models can be an aid to preparing and delivering clear and accurate briefings.
